Tow chain with hook and tractor storage
With this mod you can realistically recover or tow vehicles and tractors with a tow chain. The chain can be attached directly to suitable vehicles. Vehicles without a suitable hitch point can be equipped with a freely positionable tow hook.
The chain can be picked up, carried to the vehicle by hand and fastened manually. First the red end is attached to the towing vehicle, then the second end is attached to the vehicle to be towed. Multiple chains can also be used at the same time.

Features
Tow vehicles and tractors with a realistic chain
Three available chain lengths: 1.5m, 2.5m and 3.5m
Tow hook for vehicles without a suitable attachment point
Hook can be moved freely to the left, right, front, back, up and down
Chain can be picked up by hand and attached manually
Multiple chains can be used at the same time
Each chain has its own visible ID
Choose between several chains nearby
Automatic or manual steering of the towed vehicle
Gas function for the towed vehicle
Settings menu with various options
All buttons can be changed in the game settings
Advanced tractor storage

This version expands the original mod with a practical storage function:
Pick up the chain and walk next to a tractor
With N the chain is stored in the tractor
The entire chain disappears during storage
Each tractor can transport its own chain
Several tractors can each store a chain at the same time
Pressing N again will place the appropriate chain behind the tractor
The saved chain length is retained
When unloading, a complete and functional chain is created again
The storage state is saved in the save game
Service
Left Shift + T – Open settings menu
X – Attach or detach tow chain
Y/Z, depending on key assignment – Switch to the next chain
Z – Install tow hook
N – Load or unload the chain into the tractor
B – Turn the towed vehicle’s gas on or off
Y – Change steering mode of the towed vehicle
Comma / Period – Steer the towed vehicle to the left or right
Left Alt key + B – change the direction of travel of the towed vehicle
Left Alt key + number pad – move tow hook

The exact key assignment may vary depending on your own game settings. The original mod description states X for attaching, Y for changing chains, Z for hooking and Left Shift + T for the settings menu.
