It appears there may be some confusion regarding the model name “Borgward B 300.” Based on historical records for the German manufacturer Carl F. W. Borgward GmbH, there is no widely recognized “B 300” model.

However, there are two distinct and well-known vehicles that are often associated with similar alphanumeric designations:1. Borgward B 3000 (Truck) The Borgward B 3000 was a well-known family of medium-duty, 3-ton trucks produced between 1941 and 1944, with additional production occurring after World War II from 1948 to 1950.
Purpose: These trucks were widely used by the Wehrmacht during World War II for transporting troops and supplies.
Variants: They were produced in various configurations, including 4×2 (S) and 4×4 (A) versions, with both petrol (O) and diesel (D) engine options.
Reputation: Approximately 30,000 units were built. While they were an “adequate” vehicle, they were often considered inferior to the competitor’s Opel Blitz 3-ton truck due to mechanical issues such as clutch slipping and steering problems in cold conditions. 2. Sd.Kfz. 300 (Minenräumwagen)The Sd.Kfz. 300 was a specialized remote-controlled mine-clearing vehicle (Minenräumwagen) developed by Borgward.
Purpose: These were tracked, radio-controlled vehicles designed to be driven into minefields to clear paths for other forces.
