The 116 Haybine is a mower-conditioner — a hay/forage harvesting machine that cuts crops (like hay, grasses, forage) and conditions them (crimps or crushes stems) in a single pass, making drying faster and more consistent. It uses a sickle-bar cutter (two opposing knife bars) plus a roller-conditioner (rubber “chevron” rolls) to process the crop before discharge. It’s designed to be pulled by a tractor (via PTO) and is typically used for hay and forage harvesting.
