FS25 Enhanced Animal System V1.1.0.0

This mod adjusts the animal system and expands it with the following features:
– Animals have both male and female offspring (In the base game, this only applies to chickens)
– The number of offspring is breed-specific
– Reproduction is not dependent on health
– Reproduction can be started manually or automatically
– Male animals can start reproduction automatically
– Reproduction that is not triggered by male animals costs a fee per animal (prices depend on the breed)
– Reproduction can fail depending on how long ago the last birth was and how old the animal is.
– Milk production and feed consumption of cows has been adjusted to the lactation curve. Cows consume more feed after giving birth, but also produce more milk. Both decrease over time. Milk production even stops completely if a cow has not had offspring for a long time.
– Cows are dry for 2 months before giving birth. This means they do not produce any milk during this time.
– Animals can live longer than 60 months.
– Animals become less healthy when they are in poor health.
– Animals become less healthy when they reach their maximum age.
– Stables can hold more animals than specified due to reproduction. The health of the animals decreases depending on the overcrowding.

Month after birth: 18 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.1
Month after birth: >=19 Feed factor: 1.0 Milk factor: 0.0

Offspring with probabilities:

Cows:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 98%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 1%

Pigs:
Number of offspring: 8 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 9 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 10 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 11 Probability: 20%
Number of offspring: 12 Probability: 20%

Sheep:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 59%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 30%
Number of offspring: 3 Probability: 20%

Horses:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 1%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 98%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 1%

Chickens:
Number of offspring: 0 Probability: 10%
Number of offspring: 1 Probability: 50%
Number of offspring: 2 Probability: 30%
Number of offspring: 3 Probability: 10%

Probability of success for starting reproduction:
Months after last birth: 0 Probability: 0%
Months after last birth: 1 Probability: 40%
Months after last birth: 2 Probability: 80%
Months after last birth: >2 Probability: 100%

Probability of success for starting reproduction decreases by 1% from a certain age:
Cows: 72 months Steps: 7 months
Pigs: 48 months Steps: 4 months
Sheep: 72 months Steps: 7 months
Horses: 180 months Steps: 8 months
Chickens: 36 months Steps: 3 months

Example: A cow gave birth for the last time 5 months ago. This means that the probability is 100%. However, she is already 80 months old. She is therefore 8 months over the maximum limit of 72 months (80 – 72 = 8). The probability for cows increases every 7 months. This results in a penalty of 2% for this cow (8/7 rounded up to 2). This cow therefore still has a 98% probability of successfully starting reproduction.

Maximum age of animals:
Cows: 300 months
Pigs: 180 months
Sheep: 144 months
Horses: 360 months
Chickens: 180 months

Probability of an animal disappearing when it reaches maximum age: 5%
Probability of an animal disappearing when its health is at 0%: 10%

V1.1.0.0
– Support for highland cattle
– The disappearance of animals due to poor health or old age can now be disabled in the settings
– Lactation curve for goats added
– Overwriting animal characteristics via animal.xml is possible
